Two killed in road accident near Kunjanampatti

Two persons were killed in a road accident near Kunjanampatti in Dindigul district on Monday after a car rammed into a motorcycle.

Muruganandam, 55, a daily wage worker from Dharmathupatti was returning from Dindigul on a two-wheeler. Loadman Murugan, 52, from the same village, was riding pillion.

When they were near Kunjanampatti, a car coming from the opposite direction rammed into the two-wheeler. Both Muruganandam and Murugan died on the spot. The driver of the car Gokul, 36, and Muthupandi, 35, who was with him in the car, sustained injuries in the accident. The Kannivadi police are investigating.
