A tragic road accident occurred early Sunday morning near Badlapur on the Mumbai-Vadodara Highway when a high-speed BMW reportedly lost control and crashed into a divider. According to preliminary information, the vehicle was allegedly being driven at speeds approaching 250 km/h before the crash.
The impact was so severe that the car was torn apart, with debris scattered across a large stretch of the highway. The accident claimed the lives of two people, including a woman identified as Rebecca Jacob and football player Yogesh Negi. A third occupant, reportedly the driver, Angad Singh Gill, sustained critical injuries and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Thane.
