Trump threatens 25% tariff on countries doing business with Iran

Washington DC: Amid the escalating tensions between United States and Iran, President Donald Trump on Monday (local time) took stringent action against the Middle East country by announcing imposing a 25 percent tariff on all countries that ‘continue to do business with Iran’. The sweeping measure targets these countries and imposes 25 percent tariff on all their business dealings with America. Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social and informed about the major development, saying that the decision would be ‘immediately’ in effect and that the ‘order is final and conclusive.’
