A fresh wave of hoax bomb threats continued to keep the police on tenterhooks after both Thiruvananthapuram International Airport and Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station received anonymous warnings on Sunday.

The police swiftly responded with precautionary measures, though operations at both prominent transit hubs remained unaffected.

According to official sources, the airport received an email bomb threat addressed to the airport manager, prompting immediate action from the City Police and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The dog squad and the bomb detection and disposal unit were deployed to the scene.
