A 27-year-old man from Telangana and his Sudanese colleague died of dehydration in Saudi Arabia's Rub' al Khali desert. They got stranded when their GPS signal failed, their mobile batteries died, and their vehicle ran out of fuel. Both were telecommunications professionals repairing a cellular tower in the region on Aug 19.
