TDP, BJP candidates file nominations for Rajya Sabha bypolls in Andhra Pradesh

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) candidates for Rajya Sabha bypolls Beeda Mastan Rao and Sana Satish Babu, and BJP candidate R. Krishnaiah filed their nominations at the Assembly building on December 10 (Tuesday). The nomination papers were submitted to Returning Officer R. Vanitha Rani.

Andhra Pradesh Ministers Nandendla Manohar, Kollu Ravindra, Anagani Satya Prasad, Satya Kumar Yadav, K. Atchannaidu, P. Narayana, and several MLAs participated in the nomination process on behalf of the candidates.

As only three candidates have filed nominations for three Rajya Sabha seats, their election is expected to be unanimous after the nomination review and withdrawal deadlines are completed.
