Tanvi Sharma first Indian woman since 2008 to bag World Junior Championships medal

Tanvi Sharma secured at least a silver medal at the BWF World Junior Championships by defeating China's Liu Si Ya in the semi-finals. She will face Thailand's Anyapat Phichitpreechasak in the gold medal match, aiming to add to her earlier bronze from the Badminton Asia Junior Championships.
