
‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ programme in Hyderabad from September 17 to October 2
Hyderabad district collector Hari Chandana Dasari on Monday (September 15, 2025) directed medical officials to ensure the success of Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar(healthy woman, strong family campaign) programme, which will be held across the district from September 17 to October 2.
This 16-day campaign, launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, will feature health check-ups and screening camps for non-communicable diseases (NCDs), cancers, anaemia, tuberculosis and sickle cell disease, maternal and child healthcare services, awareness programs on nutrition and hygiene, and voluntary blood donation drive to support public health efforts. Treatment modalities through Ayush for Anaemia, NCD, Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease among women and children will also be in focus as part of the campaign.
The Collector instructed the officials to plan one speciality camp and one mega camp every day during the fortnight-long initiative. She also suggested that speciality camps be organised in every Urban Primary Health Centre for 12 working days during the campaign period.
