As per the latest reports in entertainment news, Supreme Court has rejected the plea made by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Maharashtra Government and Bureau of Immigration. The plea challenged the order passed by the Bombay High Court nullifying the look out notice against Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, father Lt Col Indrajit Chakraborty (retd) and others.
As per the reports in Live Law, justices BR Gavai and KV Viswanathan called the petition 'frivolous' and observed that it was made only because the party concerned was 'high-profile'. The justice has also said to have warned the CBI counsel of exemplary cost also emphasising on how both individuals have strong ties within society.
