Sonu Sood Reveals He Refused Chief Minister, Deputy CM Post Offers, Here’s Why

During the lockdown imposed due to the Covid 19 pandemic in the year 2020, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood helped the people stranded in the country and abroad and all the needy in every way. Recently, the actor revealed that he had received many high-profile offers to join politics.

In an interview given to Humans of Bombay, Sonu Sood revealed that he got offers to become Chief Minister or Deputy Chief Minister. He said, “I was also offered the post of Chief Minister. When I refused, they said, ‘Then become Deputy CM.’ These were very influential people of the country, who also offered me a seat in the Rajya Sabha.”

The actor further said, “They told me, ‘Take Rajya Sabha membership and join us; you don’t need to fight for anything in politics.’ It is an exciting phase when such powerful people want to meet you and encourage you to bring change in the world. ”Sonu Sood said about these offers, “When you start getting fame, you start rising in life. But at high altitudes the oxygen level is low. We want to rise, but it is important how long you can stay there. Many big artists of your industry cannot even dream of achieving this and you are denying it?”
