A preliminary Special Investigation Team (SIT) report into the alleged donation irregularities at the Ayodhya Ram Temple has reportedly identified several administrative and procedural lapses. According to sources, the 15-page report submitted to the government highlights discrepancies in donation counting and monitoring practices.
The SIT reportedly found that while the number of devotees visiting the temple had increased over several months, the recorded donation amounts appeared comparatively lower. During questioning, officials reportedly explained that devotees had contributed more coins and fewer currency notes during that period.
However, investigators have continued examining the mismatch between visitor numbers and donation records. The report also points to concerns regarding staff deployment and oversight. Several employees were allegedly performing responsibilities without documented written orders, raising questions about accountability and internal management.
