‘Shah Rukh Khan promised to take care of my son but his…’: Aadesh Shrivastava’s wife Vijayta says

Music composer Aadesh Shrivastava who died of cancer in 2015 at 51, has composed music for over 100 Hindi films. He was survived by his wife Vijayta Pandit who is also a singer and son Avitesh Shrivastava, who is also a singer, music composer and actor. Vijayta recently opened up about how disheartened she is as her son is not getting help from the film industry even after requesting Aadesh’s good friend, actor Shah Rukh Khan to support his son.

In a new interview with Lehren Retro, Vijayta told the reporter in Hindi that his son Avitesh has been working hard and even recorded music with Akon. But he isn’t getting any support from the people who are big in Bollywood. She even said Shah Rukh Khan was a dear friend and was asked to take care of our son by Aadesh when he was on death bed but she is not able to contact him.

She told the portal, “He (Avitesh) works so hard, he has recorded music with Akon and French Montana, among others. But unfortunately, my son is not getting support or direction in the film industry. People from the industry know that today Aadesh is not there, they should help my son. You won’t believe when Aadesh was in the hospital, Shah Rukh Khan used to come and meet.
