Several people feared trapped after building collapses in Delhi amid heavy rain

Several people are feared trapped after a building collapsed in Delhi's southwest Satya Niketan area on Sunday afternoon. One person has been rescued from beneath the rubble so far, while rescue teams continue to search the debris for others who may be trapped.

The building reportedly collapsed at around 1:30 pm, triggering panic in the locality. Videos from the spot showed a large crowd gathered near the collapsed structure as residents and rescuers joined the efforts to locate survivors.

Satya Niketan is a busy area with a large student population, with several colleges situated in and around the locality.
