Security upped in violence-hit Sambhal ahead of Friday prayers

Security measures have been increased around the Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, after tensions escalated due to a violent incident during an ASI examination. The Rapid Action Force has been deployed, and a Judicial Inquiry Commission has been established. The Supreme Court will hear a plea regarding the issue on Friday.
