SC frets over 'social media misuse' on pending matters

Expressing concern over growing misuse of social media to spread lies about judicial proceedings, Supreme Court has said that the issue needs to be given serious consideration as such fakeries constitute interference in judicial proceedings and should not be tolerated. A bench of Justices Aniruddha Bose and Bela M Trivedi took note of a Facebook post by a litigant.
