'Savarkar-type behaviour': Owaisi lashes out at miscreants who threw ink at his Delhi house

AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi’s nameplate outside his house in New Delhi was smeared with black ink by miscreants on Thursday, sources said. Police were informed about the incident and they are trying to ascertain the identity of the accused by scouring the CCTV footage.

Additionally, India-Israel friendship posters were also put up outside his residence demanding that the Hyderabad MP’s Lok Sabha membership be revoked.

The incident comes days after Asaduddin Owaisi sparked a controversy by chanting ‘Jai Palestine’ slogan as he concluded his oath as an MP on the second day of the 18th Lok Sabha session in Parliament on June 25.
