Salman Khan records statement in house firing case, says ‘Lawrence Bishnoi tried to kill me’

A few months back, two men opened fire outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy apartment in Mumbai. The matter immediately came into the limelight police made its arrest. Now, Salman Khan has finally opened up on the matter and said that he believed that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi orchestrated the firing outside his home with the intent to kill him and his family.

Salman Khan has given a statement, which is a part of the police investigation and the chargesheet. The actor recorded his statement by the anti-extortion cell of Mumbai Crime Branch last month. Now, in an exclusive report by India Today, Salman Khan revealed that he and his family have been receiving threats from Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang members for years. He also mentioned that he has advised his family members and relatives to remain ‘alert at all times. The actor also said that when the attack happened, he was sleeping at his home.

“I heard a cracker-like sound. Then, at around 4.55 am, the police bodyguard said that two people on a bike had fired from a weapon at the Galaxy Apartment’s first-floor balcony. There had been attempts to hurt me and my family prior to this as well. I have learnt that Lawrence Bishnoi has taken responsibility for the attack from social media. So, I believe that it is the Lawrence Bishnoi gang who have carried out the firing on my balcony,” the statement read.
