New Delhi: Coldplay performed their debut concert in Mumbai on Saturday as part of the India leg of their Music of the Spheres World Tour at DY Patil Stadium. Among the 45,000-strong crowd was cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, who attended the event with his daughter Sara and wife Anjali. Sachin wore a printed shirt with black trousers, while Anjali donned a similar ensemble.

Sara embraced a casual Gen Z style, wearing a black tank top paired with pants. The Tendulkar family seemed to enjoy the concert from the VIP section. Social media users praised Sachin’s presence, calling it the highlight of the evening, with many remarking that his attendance made the Coldplay show even more memorable.

In a separate viral clip from the Mumbai concert, Coldplay’s lead vocalist Chris Martin was seen reading the phrase “Jai Shri Ram” from a sign held by an audience member. He also engaged with the crowd, expressing his gratitude to the fans for attending the event. Coldplay is scheduled to perform two more shows in Mumbai on January 19 and 21, with the fourth performance taking place at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25.
