The political deadlock in Parliament continued as Opposition members repeatedly demanded that Union Home Minister Amit Shah address the House regarding issues they had raised.

Responding to the protests in the Rajya Sabha, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju rejected the Opposition’s demand, stating that it is the government's prerogative to decide which minister responds during parliamentary proceedings.

He asserted that the Home Minister remains present in Parliament from morning until late evening and accused the Opposition of creating confusion by claiming otherwise. Rijiju further alleged that Opposition members raise slogans, disrupt proceedings, and leave the House without listening to the government's responses.
