Republic Day 2024 celebrations commences with PM Modi paying homage to bravehearts at National War Memorial

Prime Minister Narendra Modi pays tribute to soldiers at National War Memorial during Republic DayRepublic DayRepublic Day 2024 celebrations. ​​Defence Minister Rajnath Singh received PM Modi upon his arrival at the memorial. Major Indrajeet Sachin from the 6th Battalion of Sikh Regiment commanded the guards this year. During the wreath-laying ceremony, the Inter-Services Guards presented 'Salami Shastra' and 'Shok Shastra', while buglers played the 'Last Post'.
