Ramayan director Ramanand Sagar’s son Prem Sagar dies at 84 due to…

Prem Sagar, son of legendary filmmaker Ramanand Sagar, known for one of the iconic TV serials Ramayan, passed away on Sunday (August 31) at 10 am. Prem was 84 when he took his last breath.

Sources, as quoted by NDTV, said, “He had been unwell for some time and was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. On Sunday, doctors advised that he be taken home. He passed away this morning. The cremation will be held today at 3 pm at Pawan Hans cremation ground in Mumbai.”

A senior producer and acclaimed cinematographer, he carried forward the Sagar family’s rich legacy in Indian cinema and television.
