Actress Karishma Sharma, who starred in Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Ragini MMS Returns, suffered severe injuries after jumping from a speeding train in Mumbai. The incident raised worries about commuter safety, and she is rushed to hospital and is currently under observation. She was traveling to Churchgate for a shoot when the tragedy happened. On her Instagram Story, Sharma posted details of the occurrence, informing followers of her hospitalisation.
Sharma says that she made the decision to go in a saree and tried to catch the train quickly. She said that her choice to leap was driven by panic after her friends were unable to board the train. She landed on her back and was hurt as a result. According to the actor, it was a really difficult incident.
In her Instagram story, Sharma explained: "Yesterday, while going for a shoot at Churchgate, I decided to catch the train wearing a saree. As soon as I boarded the train, its speed increased, and I saw that my friends were unable to board. Out of fear, I jumped and fell on my back, which caused a significant injury to my head (sic)."
