Pushpa 2 Postponed: Allu Arjun Announces New Release Date of Action Thriller
With the release of Pushpa: The Rise, which was directed by Sukumar, Allu Arjun shot to stardom back in 2021. The movie was a huge blockbuster in the Covid era, and Pushpa: The Rule, the follow-up, is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The producers have often said that Pushpa 2, which stars Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, will be released on August 15, 2024. The Pushpa sequel has been officially postponed, and Allu Arjun, the lead actor, has revealed the new release date.
Allu Arjun posted a new Pushpa 2: The Rule poster on his X (formerly known as Twitter) on Monday night. The actor who will play the lead character of Pushpa Raj decked up in a brown shirt over a grey t-shirt and a matching bandana over his head. With a sword slung menacingly over his shoulder, he was holding something. The caption on the post read, “#Pushpa2TheRule in cinemas from December 6th, 2024.”
The production team also released a lengthy message in which they explained that the remaining filming and following post-production work are the reasons behind the release date adjustment.
