President Murmu, PM Modi Pay Tribute To Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose On Birth Anniversary
President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid tribute to freedom fighter and founder of the IndianIndianIndian National Army Subhas Chandra Bose on his 127th birth anniversary. Bose, widely referred to as Netaji (meaning "respected leader"), was a key figure in fighting for India's independence. While paying tribute to Bose, Presdient Murmu said that Netaji's "extraordinary commitment" to India's freedom "inspired Indians to fight fearlessly against the colonial rule."
