PN Gadgil Jewellers Ltd made a strong debut on the stock market on Tuesday, with its shares listing at Rs 830 on the National Stock Exchange, an impressive 72.91% premium over the issue price of Rs 480 per share.
The Maharashtra-based jewellery retail chain also saw a strong listing on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), where its shares opened at Rs 834, marking a 73.75% premium.
The stellar debut reflects the market’s confidence in the company, as its initial public offering (IPO) had garnered strong investor interest, with the issue being subscribed 59.41 times on the last day of bidding, September 12.
