Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to hold a bilateral meeting with Chinese PresidentPresidentPresident Xi Jinping later this week, during his upcoming visit to China, his first in over seven years.
PM Modi will travel to Tianjin from August 31 to September 1 to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit.
The visit comes as India and China continue efforts to ease tensions that have persisted since the violent border clashes of 2020.
