Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a “begging bowl” dig at neighbouring Pakistan while addressing a rally in Haryana’s Ambala. The prime minister also stressed that robust leadership makes enemies think twice before challenging India.

“Pakistan had been troubling India for 70 years, it had bombs in its hands. Today it has ‘bheekh ka katora‘ (begging bowl) in its hands,” PM Modi said, referring to bailout packages from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
