PM Modi, President Subianto visit Prambanan Temple in Indonesia

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, on Wednesday (July 8, 2026) visited the "majestic" Prambanan Temple complex — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — in Yogyakarta.

India and Indonesia, a day ago, exchanged a Letter of Intent to start a project on the conservation and restoration of the temple complex with assistance from India.

PM Modi arrived in Jakarta on Monday (July 6) on the first leg of his three-nation tour, which will also cover Australia and New Zealand.
