On the fifth anniversary of the Pulwama terror attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday remembered the fallen jawans and said their “sacrifice for our nation will always be remembered”. In a heinous suicide attack in 2019, 40 Indian security personnel were killed after Pakistan-linked terrorists rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into their convoy.
Taking to X, the prime minister said, “I pay homage to the brave heroes who were martyred in Pulwama. Their service and sacrifice for our nation will always be remembered.”
