PM Modi calls up CM Stalin, assures support amid flood crisis

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Tamil NaduTamil NaduTamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Tuesday (December 3, 2024) to enquire about the flood situation in parts of the State and assured him of all possible support from the Centre.

Mr. Stalin wrote on X that the Prime Minister enquired about the damage, and the Chief Minister reiterated his request for assistance from the Centre for disaster and relief assistance.

Mr. Stalin requested that Mr. Modi “send a Union committee to carry out a detailed assessment of the storm damage”.
