Pak TikToker found dead, daughter claims she was poisoned for refusing marriage

Pakistani TikTok content creator Sumeera Rajput was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her home in Pakistan's Sindh province. Initial reports suggest she may have been poisoned by individuals who were allegedly pressuring her into a forced marriage.

According to Geo News, Rajput's 15-year-old daughter, who is also a TikTok creator, alleged, “The suspects gave poisonous tablets to Sumeera, which led to her death.” The incident, which occurred in Ghotki district in Sindh, has intensified public concern over gender-based violence and forced marriages in the region.

Authorities have taken two individuals into custody. Ghotki District Police Officer Anwar Shaikh confirmed the daughter’s claim but stated that no FIR (First Information Report) had been registered so far. Police are currently investigating whether foul play was involved.
