Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks at Shri Ram College of Commerce have triggered a fresh political clash, with Opposition leaders accusing him of using a university platform to attack critics rather than address concerns linked to students, jobs and higher education.
The controversy centres on PM Modi's renewed use of the phrase "Dimagi Naxal", a term he had used in his Independence Day address. Speaking at SRCC's centenary celebrations in Delhi University, the Prime Minister said those who supported such ideas were now being "exposed" before the public.
"As soon as I gave the 'Dimagi Naxal' homeopathy pill, all the 'Dimagi Naxals' started coming out one by one. And now the public is also seeing the true colours of those who are encouraging this illness," PM Modi said during his address.
