Smartphone maker OnePlus has expanded its portfolio in India with the introduction of two new products the OnePlus 15-series successor OnePlus 15R and the productivity tablet OnePlus Pad Go 2 . The announcement came through an online launch event hosted in Bengaluru, as part of the company’s 12th anniversary celebrations in India. The event featured the launch of a pair of new devices from the OnePlus 15R smartphone to the productivity tablet OnePlus Pad Go 2 , a move seen as the brand’s efforts to tap into the performance value-conscious consumer base.
OnePlus 15R is a 6.83 inch AMOLED smartphone with 1.5K+ resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate, offering a display that promises smooth, fluid visuals, even while gaming. It is designed as a performance focused mid range offering, packing flagship like hardware, and so, could be a great fit for users who crave power but are a bit tighter on budget.
The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset built on a 3 nm process node and is accompanied by 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The combination of components is sure to deliver speedy multitasking, gaming and other heavy-duty tasks.
