New Delhi: Following an upsurge of complaints over sexually explicit material and accusations of coercion against female participants, Ullu has removed its controversial reality show 'House Arrest' from streaming. The decision is a response to a video clip that went viral from the program. In it, former 'Bigg Boss' competitor and presenter Ajaz Khan was seen forcing female candidates to engage in sexually explicit behaviours on camera, even though they were clearly uncomfortable and objected.

Confirming the show's removal from the platform, a search for "House Arrest" on Friday on the Ullu app produced no results. The show, which debuted on April 11, was billed as an unfiltered spin on captive reality shows.

Chitra Wagh, head of the Maharashtra BJP BJP BJP Mahila Morcha, has joined the rising chorus of people opposing Ajaz Khan's controversial reality show House Arrest, calling it “nothing but the epitome of vulgarity” and urging for an immediate ban.
