The Delhi High Court on Monday sought responses from Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and other accused persons on an appeal filed by the Enforcement Directorate challenging a trial court order that had refused to take cognisance of the agency’s prosecution complaint in the National Herald money laundering case.
A bench headed by Justice Ravindra Dudeja also issued notice on the ED’s application seeking a stay on the December 16 order of the trial court, which had declined to take cognisance of the complaint filed under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
The High Court has asked the respondents to file their replies and listed the matter for further hearing.
