Australia's space agency has confirmed that the mysterious object that washed up on one of the country's beaches mid-July is ISRO rocket debris. It said that the object is from an expended third stage of a Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) of the ISRO. PSLV's third stage is a solid rocket motor that provides upper stages high thrust after the atmospheric phase of launch. Watch.
