Mumbai-New York Air India flight diverted to Delhi after bomb threat

An Air India flight from Mumbai to New York was diverted to Delhi Airport on Monday following a bomb threat. All passengers are safe, and further inspection is underway, officials said.

The flight took off from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at around 2 am and received a bomb threat immediately after.

The aircraft is currently stationed at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, and all standard safety protocols are being followed to ensure the safety of passengers and crew, authorities added.
