Teja Sajja's 'Mirai' witnessed a phenomenal opening at the box office. The film, which was released in theatres on September 12, showed an impressive occupancy, driving the film's initial success.

Directed by Karthik Gattamneni and also starring Manchu Manoj and Ritika Nayak alongside Teja Sajja, the film managed to rake in Rs 12 crores on the opening day, as per early estimates.

The film recorded an overall occupancy of 10.86 per cent in Hindi and 68.59 per cent in Telugu on its opening day. Given the strong buzz, it is expected to deliver solid numbers over its first weekend.
