As soon as we get an opportunity, we will put pressure on the Central Govt at the Parliament and present the issues raised by the people and the deficiencies on the part of Central Govt & State Govt that we saw here. We appeal to the Govt of India to not delay, accept our No Confidence Motion and hold discussion over Manipur issue. The situation is worsening and it is raising national security concerns...," Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said after the meeting.
MC MP Sushmita Dev said, "The situation is not good here (Manipur), we want to present a joint memorandum to the Governor and appeal to restore peace. We will ask the Governor to inform about the situation in the state to PM Modi and Union HM Amit Shah."
