Man killed in road accident in Sivaganga

A Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) bus conductor was killed in a road accident at Paavoorchathram on Monday.

Police said TNSTC bus conductor Veldurai, 43, of Adaikkalapattinam near Paavoorchathram was going for duty on his bike in the early hours of Monday. When he was crossing a private polytechnic college in Paavoorchathram, an oncoming speeding car hit the two-wheeler and killed Veldurai on the spot.

Paavoorchathram police had registered a case and picked-up the car driver for inquiry.
