Man found dead after being hit by train in Kasaragod

A Village Administrative Officer (VAO) of Paiyur was found dead inside the VAO office at Ilupur in the district on Wednesday. Police gave the name of the deceased as T. Karunamoorthy, 27, of Irundhirapatti in Ilupur taluk. He was found dead inside the office in the evening.

The body was shifted to the Government Hospital, Ilupur. Police personnel conducted inquiries at the spot on receipt of information. Finger print experts and a scientific officer inspected the spot where a detective dog was brought. Further inquiry is underway. The Ilupur police are probing the case.
