Mammootty gets standing ovation as he wins Best Actor National Award for 4th time, Kartik Aaryan also honoured

Actor Kartik Aaryan was presented with the Rajat Kamal for Best Actor in a Leading Role by President Droupadi Murmu at the 72nd National Film Awards ceremony in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat.

This win stands as a significant milestone for Kartik Aaryan, as this is his very first National Award. He was felicitated with the award for his impeccable performance in Chandu Champion, bringing the inspiring story of Paralympic gold medallist Murlikant Petkar to life under Kabir Khan’s direction.

Kartik shared the Best Actor award with Malayalam cinema legend Mammootty, who was recognized for his role in the period folk-horror film Bramayugam at the 72nd National Film Awards.
