Mahindra has officially introduced the XEV 9S, a new seven-seater electric SUV developed on its advanced INGLO platform. Designed with an electric-first architecture, the XEV 9S aims to deliver superior cabin space, making it an appealing choice for families and buyers seeking a larger three-row EV.
The XEV 9S will be available in six variants, with the top-spec Pack Three Above trim priced at ₹29.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Mahindra has announced that bookings will begin on January 14, 2026, while customer deliveries are set to start on January 23, 2026.
A key highlight of the SUV is its focus on interior comfort. According to the company, the XEV 9S offers more cabin room than traditional ICE-based SUVs and MPVs in the segment. It is powered by a 79 kWh battery, promising a refined, quiet and smooth driving experience typical of modern EVs.
