Loans disbursed to women self help groups in Dindigul

A total of 1,069 women self help groups in Dindigul district received loans to the tune of ₹91.89 crore on Wednesday.

Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin launched the distribution of loans for the self help groups at an event in Chennai. In Dindigul district, the loans were distributed by Collector S. Saravanan in the presence of Palani MLA I. P. Senthilkumar.

Collector Saravanan said there were a total of 14,571 women self help groups in Dindigul district of which 10,249 were in rural areas and 4,322 groups in urban areas.
