Lauren Cheatle To Miss WPL After Skin Cancer Removal

Australia fast bowler Lauren Cheatle has been ruled out of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 due to a skin cancer procedure that she underwent on Wednesday, February 2.

The 25-year-old had skin cancer removed from her neck. Back in 2021, the speedster had to undergo a similar operation on her leg.

Cheatle was set to play for the Gujarat Giants after being picked up in the auction for INR 30 lakhs.
