Jewel Thief review: Netflix’s new action thriller 'Jewel Thief' tries to position itself alongside titles like Pathaan, War, or Bang Bang, but ends up feeling more like a parody of those films — minus the budget, the story, or the thrill. Despite featuring actors like Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Nikita Dutta, the film barely manages to keep its head above the surface.

It feels like  like someone asked director Siddharth Anand (known for Pathaan, Bang Bang, and War) "Give us something like War, but cheaper." Instead of Hrithik Roshan, we have Saif. Instead of Shah Rukh Khan stealing diamonds in Pathaan, it’s Saif again. Jaideep Ahlawat, now a popular OTT face, is roped in for credibility.

Nikita Dutta, who’s been making her mark in recent projects, is here for the glam quotient. The logic? Slap a few known faces on the poster and Netflix might just buy it. And they did.
