Kanguva to clash with Jigra: Suriya and Alia Bhatt’s films to release in October

Suriya is all set to make a record with his upcoming high-octane action saga Kanguva, directed by Siva. The movie is based on the concept of time travel and is set to release on October 10, 2024, a day before the release of Alia Bhatt’s highly anticipated film Jigra. For the unversed, Jigra will be released on October 11, 2024. Needless to say, Suriya’s film will face competition from Alia Bhatt’s Jigra.

The promo of Kanguva received major appreciation from the audience. Its gripping time travel concept and grand VFX and war sequences won the hearts of people. Meanwhile, Suriya shared a poster of his character from the film as the warrior and dropped the caption, “In cinemas…10-10-2024 worldwide.” While tweeting the post, the actor wrote, “Dear all…It’s 10th October 2024.”

As soon as the post went up, fans wasted no time spamming the comment section. One fan wrote, “All the best from Thalaivar fans (fire and blast emojis).” Another fan commented, “The dates are locked (heart emoji) and close the gates (hot face emoji).” Another fan added, “All the best Anna (heart emoji).
