Justice Surya Kant to take path as 53rd Chief Justice of India on Monday

The oath-taking ceremony of Justice Surya Kant as the 53rd Chief Justice of IndiaIndiaIndia will witness over 15 guests from neighbouring countries, including five foreign Chief Justices and six judges along with their family members.

According to the list of foreign attendees, Chief Justices of Bhutan, Kenya, Mauritius, Nepal and Sri Lanka will be part of the event, along with the celebration of the Constitution Day.

Justice Surya Kant is slated to take oath as the 53rd CJI after a long judicial career marked by significant constitutional rulings, work on institutional reforms and a sustained focus on legal aid delivery
