Iran launched a large-scale retaliatory missile and drone campaign against US military assets across the Gulf following continued American airstrikes. Iranian officials reportedly said targets included US-linked facilities in Iraq’s Kurdistan region, Erbil, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Syria’s Al-Tanf base, and Iraq.

Tehran claimed to have struck weapons depots, training centres, command facilities, fuel infrastructure, surveillance systems, and airbases to weaken American operational capabilities. The report also alleged attacks on Kurdish militia positions and US intelligence-linked facilities. These claims could not be independently verified.

The developments came after the United States reportedly carried out another night of heavy bombing inside Iran, targeting areas including Ahvaz, Bushehr, Bandar Abbas, Sirik, Yazd, Fars, and Hormozgan Province.
