A hacker group tied to Iran claimed possession of over 100GB of emails belonging to associates of US President Donald Trump, threatening to leak them publicly. The group, which operates under the alias “Robert", named top Trump figures including White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, attorney Lindsey Halligan, advisor Roger Stone and Trump critic pornstar Stormy Daniels as part of the breach.

Stormy Daniels made headlines in 2018 when she alleged that she had a sexual encounter with Donald Trump in 2006- shortly after the birth of his youngest son- and was later paid $130,000 in hush money just days before the 2016 election.

According to a Reuters report, the hackers have not revealed the content of the files or provided verification but suggested the material may be for sale or public release. The group previously leaked emails during the 2024 election cycle but claimed to have retired shortly after Donald Trump’s victory.
